Barbie as The Island Princess is the 11th Barbie movie. It was released to DVD on September 18, 2007, and it made its TV premiere on Nickelodeon on September 23, 2007.[1] The film follows Ro, a girl who grew up on an island, only inhabited by animals before being found by other humans and taken to civilization.

Sadly, this movie misses the mark on many levels. I was interested to see the fascinating true events adapted to the big screen, but all I got was a disjointed comedy that glossed over everything and managed to turn this amazing story into a tedious slog.A big problem is the characters. They are caricatures, their motives are very superficial, and this results in a lack of emotional connection to them. The scene where they take a stand together was supposed to be the movies' emotional pinnacle, and yet it fell flat, a direct result of the inadequate characterization.Also, the movie's political messages are very heavy-handed. This comes from a person that took an interest in those messages, but I did not like their execution. Especially in that Church&State scene, it was too in-your-face, and too simplistic.The movie suffers from many other deficiencies, such as quickly moving from important event to important event without doing them justice, having a half-baked romance at its core, and a protagonist that behaves like a love-struck kid that is oblivious to everything, instead of a radicalized adult that knows what he's doing.I believe that even if this disappointing movie is forgotten, the actual event should not, because it really is worthy of remembrance and hopefully, better attempts at preserving it than this movie.
The Italian Job is one of my top all time favorite action/adventure/travel movies that shows lots of scenes in Italy. I especially love the boat chase scene with the gondolas in Venice. Features Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg and Jason Statham-all my favorite actors.
Let me just say, I LOVED this movie. Chef is the ideal movie for the food traveler. Burnt out Chef Carl Caspar (Jon Favreau) is fired from his restaurant and so, he decides to open a food truck. He and his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara) travel across the United States to sell their food. They travel to New Orleans, Austin and Miami. This movie is full of passion for food and creativity, and a love for family.

While diving, they stumble upon an airplane wreck full of illegal drugs, leading to an underground storyline of mobs and underwater action. The movie has an abundance of shark footage, most of which was filmed using live, wild sharks in their natural habitat.
